The client needed to sell hotel rooms based on a variety of criteria including federal versus non-federal employment as well as divisions within their organization. Summary of Needs Avoid attrition penalties Strict room inventory control Apply appropriate billing methods (pay own account, room and tax to master, etc.) Differentiation between federal and non-federal registrants Allow the registrant to see only the hotels available to them based on their job title. Ensure that registrants were booked in the approved hotel The Solution YesEvents listened to what the client wanted to accomplish regarding the Housing needs. We then were able to efficiently create an on-line registration form that asked a series of qualifying questions which resulted in the approved hotels to appear based on their answers. We were able to generate email blasts to those that registered but did not make a hotel reservation that offered the appropriate hotel. Finally our integrated system verified their organization and job title, displayed the available room types in the hotels pre-assigned by the conference coordinator. We were able to track the inventory of all hotel rooms and provide rooming lists to the hotel.
