The Background
The following Registration Case Study represents an actual client's challenging needs. The client wanted to have both attendees and exhibitors register online for the bi-annual conference. Exhibitors were allotted a specific number of complimentary registrations with discounted registrations for the additional registrants after the complimentary registrations were taken. In addition, the business rules for fees were based on whether or not the registrant was local, and whether they were staying in the conference hotel or not. The rules also used allotments based on the size of booth the exhibiting company purchased. Summary of Needs
The Solution YesEvents listened to what the client wanted to accomplish. We then were able to efficiently create an on-line registration form that searched a pre-loaded list of ZIP codes to determine their town of residence. Then the booth size was a considered to calculate the number of discounted registrations available. Finally our integrated system checked to see where reservations for housing were made in order to properly price the registrant's fees.
